Alitalia to set up two special flights tomorrow and larger aircraft to assist its travellers
Special flights and larger aircraft from Paris, Amsterdam and Düsseldorf. Alitalia has implemented a plan to provide its passengers with all needed assistance following the multiple explosions in Brussels early this morning that led to the closure of Zaventem airport and to the cancellation of Alitalia’s services to and from the Belgian capital also for tomorrow.
The entire staff of the Company is working hard to provide all necessary assistance to passengers by giving them the option to re-book free of charge or by providing them with re-routing options through Paris, Düsseldorf and Amsterdam airports.
Alitalia will operate flights to and from those airports with the largest aircraft of its medium haul fleet. Two special flights have also been set up on the Rome-Dusseldorf-Rome and Milan Linate-Dusseldorf-Milan Linate routes.
Alitalia continues to monitor the situation in order to react promptly to provide passengers with the best possible assistance. The Company will keep travellers informed with updates on its website and social media platforms.
