WINTER NETWORK 2009-10
The Network Winter 2009/2010
On 25 October 2009, Alitalia's new winter schedule went into effect. The new schedule will be in effect until 27 March 2010.
The winter season network provides service to 73 destinations between Italy and the rest of the world, with 2.249 weekly frequencies on 131 routes. Alitalia’s network makes it easy for you to get where you are going:
Widespread coverage of the domestic market: 24 domestic destinations served and 1,483 weekly frequencies to meet domestic mobility needs thanks to a wide range of direct service from the main Italian cities towards the rest of Italy.
Efficient coverage of foreign markets: 49 international and intercontinental destinations served and 766 weekly frequencies, with a range of connecting domestic flights studied to make it easy to get to your final destination.
Ideal schedules designed to meet customers' needs: Schedules studied to allow business customers to fly to their destination and return on the same day from/to main Italian and European destinations.
Close to home: A network centred around 6 regional bases (Turin, Milan, Venice, Rome, Naples and Catania) that makes it possible to fly quickly from the Italian provinces to the rest of the world.
Among the main new features of the winter Network, there are the following:
New international service from the Turin Caselle Airport to Amsterdam, Istanbul, Moscow and Berlin;
New flights to Crotone from Roma Fiumicino and Milano Linate airport;
Greater flight frequencies on the Venice-Catania service route that becomes daily.
The service provided will continue to be characterised by the use of one of the most modern and efficient fleets in Europe, thanks to the progressive introduction of the new Airbus A320 and the restyling of the cabins of the aircraft already in the fleet with the latest-generation slim seats.
