In the summer season, the Alitalia Group provides service to 103 destinations, 26 in Italy and 77 in the rest of the world for a total of 186 routes served with more than 4700 weekly flights.

The Alitalia network allow convenient connections between the Italian provinces and the main international and intercontinental destinations.

Through its network, Alitalia ensures widespread coverage of Italy and offers directs flights to major European capitals, the countries of the Mediterranean basin and the intercontinental markets with the highest rate of development for traditional and business tourism.


In the summer season Alitalia's network grow with four new direct connections:
  • From Venice to Tokyo
  • From Rome Fiumicino to Comiso and Skopje, Capital of Macedonia.
  • From Milan Linate to Warsaw and Prague
  • From Alghero to Turin

Effective April, seasonal flights will operate from Rome to Thessaloniki. Seasonal flights from Rome Fiumicino Airport to Los Angeles and Chicago will begin in May.
June to September service will resume:
  • from Rome and Milan Linate to Lampedusa and Pantelleria;
  • from Rome to Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca and Rhodes.
July to September service will resume from Naples to Olbia.
New summer routes will operate in August:
  • from Milan Malpensa to Ibiza and Rhodes;
  • from Milan Linate to AthensThessaloniki, Heraklion and Copenhagen (the last starting from June);
  • from Rome to Menorca, to Mykonos and Heraklion.


During 2014 summer season, Alitalia will also strengthen its presence on Brazil, Japan and domestic markets by increasing frequency on the routes: 
  • From Rome Fiumicino to Rio De Janeiro  for a total of 6 weekly flights
  • From  Milano Malpensa to Tokyo for a total of 5 weekly flights
  • From Rome Fiumicino to Cagliari (increased service with 21 weekly flights)
  • From Rome Fiumicino to Pisa (increased service with 4 weekly flights
  • From Milan Linate to Cagliari (increased service with 55 weekly flights)
  • From Milan Linate to Alghero (increased service with 21 weekly flights)



Air One’s network will operate to 32 destinations including 20 international and 12 national routes, with 226  weekly frequencies, growing over summer 2013.
During the summer season, Air One assumes an important role by capturing untapped market share to/from targeted areas within Italy to European destinations. In particular Sicily, where Air One will increase its presence by end of March at two of its operational bases: Catania and Palermo, the latter featuring special offers for summer 2014 travel. With 5 of 10 aircraft home-based at the two Sicilian cities, Air One will serve 30 domestic and international routes to/from Catania and Palermo (20 destination served from Catania and 10 from Palermo).
  • From Catania Air One will fly to  Milan Malpensa, Pisa, Venice, Verona, Turin, Bologna, Amsterdam, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Kiev, Lyon, London, Paris, Prague, Stuttgart,  Vienna, Krasnodar, Rostov, Moscow and St. Petersburg
  • From Palermo to Turin, Venice, Verona, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Munchen, Moscow and St. Petersburg
Another new feature of the Air One’ summer 2014 offer is the new operational base in Verona, from where Air One will fly to Catania, Palermo , Barcelona, Tirana and Paris.
Other bases served by Air One this summer include:
  • Venice with flights  to Catania, Cagliari, Palermo, Lamezia Terme, Athens, Copenaghen, Ibiza, Prague, Tirana, Moscow and St. Petersburg 
  • Pisa with flights to Catania, Olbia, Palma de Mallorca, Prague, Berlin, Tirana, Moscow and St. Petersburg
  • Milano Malpensa with flights to Catania and Tirana
  • Bologna with flights to Tirana and Catania
  • Genova with flights to Tirana
